I. Job SummaryLeads multiple teams in planning, coordinating, developing and implementing information technology/systems to support a broad spectrum of business needs for a Waste Management business unit/s or major IT sub-function.II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned and may vary by department.

Develops overall technology and system strategy, directs execution of departmental activities. Prepares and maintains long-range plans in support of technology needs of the business unit/s or functions served. Consults, counsels and reviews hardware and software needs to ensure systematic, uniform development of information system activities. Builds, maintains and directs functional teams to develop and implement high value business solutions. Establishes and communicates common goal and direction for the department. Develops departmental budget and manages resources. Serves as a liaison with core information systems. Provides and/or monitors administration of training and team-building to less experienced staff. III. Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThe highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is management through one or more managerial levels. This includes:

Direct supervision of full-time employees including management and individual contributor positions; Indirect supervision of full-time employees including management and individual contributor positions. IV. QualificationsThe requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.A. Education and Experience

Education: Bachelor's Degree (accredited) in Computer Science, MIS, Finance, or in lieu of degree, High School Diploma or GED (accredited) and 12 years of relevant work experience. Experience: 12 year(s) of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirement). B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

None required. C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

Experience working with offshore teams is preferred Direct experience with all phases of the development lifecycle Proven experience to motivate teams to deliver business value A broad understanding of technology and trends is required Ability to communicate with Senior Management Developing and tracking Budgets Ability to develop, deploy and manage robust efficient processes Experience with the Microsoft Technology stack. Proven ability to drive change
