Starting Wage: $23.00/hour

Monday to Friday - 730 am to 4 pm

I. Job Summary

Sets-up and operates a wide variety of equipment, and performs work per specifications.

Equipment includes:

  • Forklift for loading bales

  • Excavator for loading the metal crusher and moving recyclables around the Material Recover Facility (MRF)

  • Excavator for loading garbage into bins for transportation

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

  • Operates equipment in compliance with the company operating procedure.

  • Verifies that equipment is in working order, e.g., tooling, safety mechanisms.

  • Moves and positions raw materials and finished components with use of material moving equipment.

  • Performs daily maintenance and cleaning activities.

This job has no supervisory duties.

IV. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience

Required: Four years previous experience.

Preferred: High school diploma or G.E.D

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

Valid Drivers' License
