I. Job Summary

Top notch collaborative, high-performing Human Resources business partner with proven experience as a trusted advisor to a multi-business unit client group. Performs highly complex Human Resources related duties at the professional level and carries out responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas in a high-touch environment: employee relations, training, compliance, FMLA, ADA, benefits and compensation administration. Application and interpretation of policies, practices, and procedures. Solution-oriented individual, facilitating decision making through the collection of information and analytics. Partners with the HR Manager and client groups to deliver best in class service.

II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other minor duties may be assigned.

  • Supports business in navigating employee relations by investigating complaints, conflicts, or other concerns

  • Partners with business leaders to reinforce processes and practices to optimal business performance

  • Partners with Talent Acquisition to qualify and approve transfers, promotions, offers

  • Onboarding –manager assimilation to systems and tools to lead the business and navigate administrative tasks, talent management, performance management, and employee engagement

  • Advises and assists with policy and procedure application, interpretation, redesign, and compliance

  • Develops, presents, and partners with resources to deliver training or to develop skills and capabilities as determined through gap assessments (i.e. systems, soft skills, action plans encompassing internal learning resources, or other relevant options)

  • Builds relationships with client groups; establishing immediate trust and credibility by engaging, responding and recommending relevant, timely solutions to sustain a high performing organization

  • Compliance with all laws

  • Develops and analyzes metrics

  • Progressively engages and partners with leadership on more complex business matters by diagnosing trends, benchmarking, leveraging resources, skip-level meetings

  • Partners with peers locally and abroad to grow the brands positive image in the community by supporting engagement activities

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory duties. May act as a team lead.

IV. Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

A. Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or similar area of study. This position requires five or more years previous experience in an HR role covering one or more of the following: employee relations, training, benefits or compensation.

B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

  • PHR preferred

C. Other Knowledge, Skills or Abilities

  • Computer skills including Microsoft Office, time and attendance and other human resource information systems (e.g., PeopleSoft).
