JOB SUMMARY: The Centrifuge Operator II is primarily responsible for operating, directing and managing shift operations of Thermal Desorption Technology, Centrifuge Technology, and/or chemical treatment including Health Safety and Environmental, Production and leading and training operators. This position will also require maintaining process equipment and technical support for multiple locations. This person will be required to safely operate Thermal Desorption Technology, Centrifuge Technology and/or chemical treatment

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist in the operation of industrial waste treatment equipment or power tools as directed and in accordance with established company and client’s facility rules. Hooks up and breaks down hoses using proper tools when directed by Operator or Project Manager. Cleans up work area and equipment after work is complete. Manually cleans, installs, fits, repairs valves, caps, hoses, pumps, gaskets and all other external and internal equipment on projects Understanding of equipment maintenance and ability to perform maintenance. Maintains good housekeeping and cleanliness in the cleaning areas. Reports complaints, rejections or safety issues to management. Checks equipment at the start of each shift performs other duties as required. Assist in maintaining safe and clean work place. Assists in the inspection of equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and general work area prior to starting any job. Informs supervisor of deficiencies which may cause accidents, injuries, or lost productivity. Wears the personal protective equipment prescribed by posted signs, written instructions, and work permits. Also, wears additional protective equipment specified by his/her supervisor or clients Safety Department. Promotes safety through own actions and work habits. Reports all accidents and near misses, involving self, company vehicles, or other job personnel to his/her supervisor immediately.

JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE:

One year of experience with dewatering operations (in addition to education requirement).

Education

High School Diploma or GED (accredited).

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements:

TWIC card Preferred Must pass a pre-employment physical. Must have access to a telephone. Is willing and able to work overtime, shift work, rotating schedules, irregular hours, nights, weekends, and/or holidays as business needs may require Compliance with Drug and with Background checking policy Valid Driver’s License Required Compliance with physical requirements OSHA Hazardous Material training a plus Basic Plus Safety Training Preferred

DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Develops a basic working knowledge of all services provided by the company Reading, writing and comprehending in English Basic math skills Operator is responsible for opening and maintaining industrial waste treatment equipment at the job site and all required functions associated with waste water treatment equipment provided by the company. Attention to detail Ability to follow procedures Safe driving with a valid driver’s license
