Lead efforts regarding digital transformation and disruptions
Develop strategies that combine efforts across digital departments
Establish reporting and analytics to help measure the success of various campaigns
Bring together strategic, creative, and technical skills to understand how innovation and digital capabilities can transform our business
Lead research efforts that yield rich insights into consumer behavior and motivation
Maintain responsibility for departmental roadmap and financials including the development of financial plans used to track spend and return on investment
Develop new and innovative ways to expand WM’s digital footprint
Display breadth and depth of knowledge regarding functional and technical solutions
II. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Experience creating and establishing new digital customer and financial metrics to answer both immediate and long-term needs
Ability to develop and present new and innovative ideas to leadership
Ability to work in an ambiguous environment; strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
Basic understanding of the core digital technologies that underpin world class customer experiences, with a strong ability to “connect the dots” across technologies
Ability to create roadmaps and detailed financial business cases for change
Experience crafting and implementing strategies for growth at the corporate, business and product level
Ability to think big and drive change across the enterprise
Experience creating and developing a high performing team
Strong oral and written communication skills, presentation skills and proficient in PowerPoint and Excel III. Supervisory Responsibilities The highest level of supervisory skills required in this job is the management of employee and possibly managerial employees. This includes:

A. Education and Experience
Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and five or more years of business and business program management experience or nine years of relevant business experience
Preferred: Master’s Degree in Finance, Marketing or Business Administration and ten or more years of customer-facing experience B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements

Solid financial acumen, including understanding of key financial statements and concepts such as P&L and ROI Impact-orientation: Strong focus on thoughtful maximization of value creation and capture, with a nose of “following the money” but recognizing that to capture value we must deliver value to our customers. This includes taking calculated risks and being prone to experimenting with new concepts Fact and data-driven approach: Track record of relying on facts and data to drive action, as opposed to over-relying on instinct, gut feel, experience or opinion. The successful candidate will have a track record of frequently using data, absent of sampling bias, to overcome confirmation bias thereby ensuring the right decision is ultimately made even where counter-intuitive Credibility: The successful candidate will be credible, or have potential to create credibility quickly, with the current Corporate and Area management teams, and therefore deemed capable of driving impact V.
